We have made the desperately difficult decision that, after over 40 years, it is time to pass the ownership baton over to someone else. The fact that the decision was so tough is a testament to what Ysguborwen means to our family. We pass that baton onto The Caron group, who operate several homes solely in Wales, are renowned for delivering excellent personal centred care, and I have no doubt Ysguborwen will continue to develop and thrive under their ownership.

Ysguborwen would be nothing without its dedicated and extraordinary staff team (both past and present), who have made and continue to make it such an incredibly special place for the residents to live over the years. The same goes for all the relatives, friends, professionals and contractors over all the decades. The sense of community is what binds the home, and has driven Ysguborwen to be rated excellent in close to all categories by CIW. And the number of awards and commendations at the Care Forum Wales awards over the years shows how valued our fellow care sector colleagues see the home.
